Future classrooms do not have walls 

A revolution has taken place in the last decades marked by technological transformations in the academic world. Among the many goals and technical challenges in this world, there is one in particular: how technology can improve learning experiences. Does technology provide advantages for e-learning administration?

E-learning and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
E-learning is a rapidly emerging field. Using digital devices and computer systems, e-learning improves learning processes and its management. Science has developed technology for this field, called Learning Management System (LMS). An LMS is an effective digital platform that improves administration to educators, creating opportunities to exchange and share knowledge without boundaries.

Nowadays, the increasing presence of Learning Management Systems reaches various areas of the academic world. Digital platforms, software, and cloud computing provide ways for communication and management learning processes. A recent study by the Capital University of Science and Technology Islamabad reveals that LMS and technological tools are very helpful to enhanced learning practices and its administration. This is not only regarding the technical functionality, but is also a positive move in the education world as it is convenient for students and faculty members.

What is happening?
From creating and preparing curricula to grading exams, educators spend a lot of time in management tasks. The Global Education Census Report reveals that professors spend around three hours a day on work-administration tasks. This includes grading and planning the classes. According to a recent study of the National University of Malaysia, one of the main matters reported by educators is the problem of restricted limited current storage space with software-based LMS. This problem of restricted space complicates the administration of the workspace and the communication between students and educators.

Google’s cloud-based MSL gives the students and educators the opportunity to exchange and share knowledge without walls.
